She cofounded Kapwing in 2018 and was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in Consumer Technology in 2020. As the CEO of Kapwing, Enthoven raised $12.7 Million from Venture Capitalists including KPCB, Village Global, and CRV and grew the website to serve more than 50 million creators. Kapwing relies on organic acquisition, and through her work Enthoven became a student, thought-leader, and expert in SEO, sharing insights on the Kapwing Blog and her LinkedIn page.
Enthoven has spoken at conferences including NAB, the Amplitude AMA Series, Village Global's Founders Day, and the Google for Startups Demo Day and appeared on numerous podcasts including 20VC. In 2025, she started Generative Visibility, a leading blog about Generative Engine Optimization and the future of AI SEO. Enthoven does SEO and GEO consulting for a small number of clients.
Julia is a runner, creative writer, reader, skiier, and community leader. She's part of the X-Googler community, StartX cohort, YPO, and SF Fun Run Wednesday night running group. She lives with her husband Tyler in San Francisco.
