From arrival Monday afternoon through checkout Wednesday, here's how our time together unfolds.
Sea Ranch rewards curiosity — on the water, under the stars, and in the fields.
The Sonoma Coast's minimal light pollution makes for extraordinary dark skies. A professional astronomer joins us with high-end telescopes and guides the group through spring constellations, distant galaxies, and — if we're lucky — early Lyrid meteors streaking overhead.
A guided 2-hour paddle on the Gualala River with River Bend Kayaks — a calm, scenic stretch of water tucked between redwoods and the coast.
The perfect way to arrive and decompress. Tour a working half-acre farm — meet the resident chickens, goats, and pigs, walk the vegetable garden, and get your questions answered by the farmer.
Wind down the first night at the Tarp House — soak in the hot tub, hit the lodge sauna, play board games, and open a bottle of wine.
Start the final morning grounded. A 60-minute guided session with instructor Deborah Johnsen at the Tarp House — the ideal way to ease into the last day together.
From the Sea Ranch Lodge's celebrated Dining Room to riverside lunch spots and a pizza night — the food on this trip is part of the experience.
Accommodation is split between a private redwood house and rooms at the Lodge — each with its own character.
A three-bedroom private house nestled among the redwoods, 1.5 miles from the Lodge. Designed by award-winning architect Obie Bowman, it's rustic, warm, and quiet — and our venue for Wednesday morning yoga.
Three rooms at the iconic Sea Ranch Lodge with sweeping ocean views — one Studio (King + Queen) and two Lodge Rooms (King each), steps from the Dining Room and ocean deck.
Our group for April 2026.
